Información condicional

How this model should be used:
This model estimates the probability of rapid virological response with Peg-interferon + ribavirin in patients with genotype 1 chronic hepatitis C, allowing to identify patients who may benefit from conventional therapy.

Model performance:
Discrimination of the model was evaluated by plotting a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. The area under the cross-validated ROC curve (c-index) was 0.745 in the derivation cohort of 1075 patients, indicating moderate to good model discrimination. In an independent validation cohort consisting of 423 patients, the reported c-index was 0.729.
