The PAncreatic NeoAdjuvant MAssachusetts (PANAMA)-score - Evidencio
The PAncreatic NeoAdjuvant MAssachusetts (PANAMA)-score

The PAncreatic NeoAdjuvant MAssachusetts (PANAMA)-score was created for prognostic stratification of patients after neoadjuvant chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer.

After neoadjuvant FOLFIRINOX for pancreatic cancer, the PANAMA-score (consisting of T-stage, positive nodes, R-status, and CA19-9) can be used for prognosis and may identifies patients with an associated survival benefit derived from adjuvant treatment.

Conditional information

Results are derived from a multicenter observational study and do predict the median expected outcome of a bigger patient group with similar characteristics. No individual exact predictions can be made and survival benefit from additional adjuvant treatment must be validated in randomized controlled trials.
