The HEART Score is a prospectively studied scoring system to help emergency departments risk-stratifiy chest pain patients within a 6 week period. The Calculator is intended to be used for patients presenting to the Emergency Department with Chest pain aged 18 years or older.

Conditional information

The HEART score can assist physicians in risk stratifying patients for their chest pain.
Use of the HEART score could potentially lead to shorter hospital stays, fewer inappropriate interventions and more appropriate interventions.

MACE is defined as: all-cause mortality, myocardial infarction, or coronary revascularization.
